Skurge was still holding two rifles, bragging to a pair of girls.
Thor looked at the unreliable guard and shook his head.
"Heimdall's warrant has been lifted. He'll be back soon."
"Go back to your old post, Skurge."
At those words, Skurge's face immediately fell.
"Your Highness, someone's already taken my old position. I... have nowhere to go."
Thor gave it some thought.
Though Skurge was a greedy, lecherous bum, he was only a victim Loki had used for one of his pranks. Throwing him out outright would indeed have been rather heartless.
After pondering for a moment, Thor pointed toward Asgard Palace.
"Report to the gates of Asgard Palace and become a gate guard. Don't let me catch you swaggering around the Bifrost with those two pieces of junk again."
"Yes! Thank you for your mercy, Your Highness!" Skurge said, bowing repeatedly as though he had been pardoned from death.
"Take us to Nidavellir first." Thor stopped wasting words and gave the order directly.
The Bifrost's energy activated, and seven-colored light swallowed Thor and Loki.
