Peter and Eros were still chatting excitedly.

A sharp stabbing pain suddenly shot through the back of Peter's head.

The ground shook violently once again.
This time, the tremors were ten times stronger than before.
The skyscrapers nearby began swaying violently, and huge chunks of concrete came crashing down from above.
Peter turned his head in horror and saw a colossal creature slowly straightening up behind rows of high-rise buildings.
It stood roughly a hundred meters tall, resembling an ancient tyrannosaur walking upright, except two rows of enormous spines glowing with an eerie blue light grew from its back.
With a casual sweep of its thick tail, it cleaved a more than ten-story office building in half.
The beast raised its head and unleashed an earthshaking roar.
"Roooar—!!!"
The sound wave became a tangible blast of air that swept through the streets.
Every pane of glass it passed shattered.
Peter covered his ears with both hands and desperately held his ground.
Eros also lost his smile, his expression turning grave.
"What the hell is that thing? Godzilla?" Peter shouted.
"I think... this is why Grandmaster said we were the prey." Eros gave a bitter smile.
The beast slowly lowered its head, its vertical pupils locking onto the two of them at the street intersection.
