This was Starfox's unique ability: Emotional Control.
It was not simple mind control. Like slowly boiling a frog in warm water, it amplified the target's favorable feelings until, without them noticing, it ultimately took control of their will.
The two continued fighting as they moved, finally luring the beast near the broken suspension bridge.
"Now, Peter!" Eros shouted.
Without hesitation, Peter fired high-intensity webbing from both hands in rapid succession.
He combined his webs with dozens of bucket-thick load-bearing steel cables left on the bridge, weaving them into an enormous super web.
"We need to find a way to trip it!" Peter shouted. "Its lower body is stable, but its upper body is too heavy! I need your strength, Eros!"
"No problem, leave it to me!" Eros seized the opportunity and suddenly accelerated, slamming into the beast's jaw like a cannonball.
The Super Strength granted by the Titans erupted at full force, and the massive beast was actually knocked backward by that blow.
Peter took the opportunity to quickly fire webs that stuck to the beast's unsteady feet.
The beast stumbled, lost its balance, and crashed down right into the center of the web.
"Lock it down!" Eros dashed back and forth through the air, trying to suppress the struggling beast.
Peter moved rapidly through the steel framework of the broken bridge, firmly securing the edges of the web to the base foundations of the massive steel towers on both sides.
The beast struggled madly, its sharp claws tearing apart some of the steel cables. But Peter's specially made webbing, enhanced by Vought's black technology, displayed astonishing toughness and only tightened further the more it tangled.
To completely suppress the enormous creature, Eros flew to both ends of the bridge and rained punches down on the two tottering steel towers.
