Yet only the ten most majestic and towering main peaks could truly be called seats of honor.
Each was guarded by a Demon Emperor ranked among the top ten grottoes.
They ruled their own territories and commanded the myriad demons.
And among those ten peaks—
There was one place that was particularly unusual.
This mountain was called Azure Luan Mountain.
Unlike the barren mountains and foul waters elsewhere, where demonic aura surged to the heavens—
This Azure Luan Mountain was filled with birdsong and flowers, its streams murmuring softly.
Tender pink wildflowers carpeted the hills and valleys. When the wind blew, fallen blossoms whirled through the air in dazzling splendor.
There were also pavilions and towers built against the mountainside.
Flying eaves arched upward, while carved beams and painted rafters adorned the structures.
At a glance, it was no different from the gardens of Jiangnan's water towns.
Along the mountain paths—
Figures moved to and fro in an endless stream.
But upon drawing close and looking carefully—
One's scalp would prickle and one's spine would turn cold.
What humans were they?
They were clearly a pack of foxes walking upright!
Every one of these foxes was a monkey in a cap.
Some wore
