The Tiger Demon lay flat on the ground, not daring even to raise his head.
He had been an insignificant minor leader on Redblood Mountain.
After the Crimson-Blood Demon Emperor died, the Great Demons and lesser demons on the mountain scattered like monkeys from a fallen tree, fleeing until not a soul remained.
He had hidden outside for a few days. Seeing that the storm seemed to have passed, he had worked up the courage to sneak back.

Jiang Yuechu could not be bothered to listen to his wailing.
She lifted her chin slightly, gesturing toward Niu Ben beside her.
Niu Ben understood. He stepped forward and planted a foot on the Tiger Demon's back.
The crushing force made the Tiger Demon's ribs creak and nearly knocked him unconscious.
"Enough of your nonsense!"
Niu Ben roared, "Tell me, did anyone get captured and brought to this mountain before that old dog Redblood died?"
The Tiger Demon sucked in sharp breaths of pain, shaking his head like a rattle drum.
"I don't know... I truly don't know anything!"
"I usually only patrolled the perimeter. I never
