This was even more explosive than the news of Nick Fury being attacked.

For a time, the enormous S.H.I.E.L.D. fell completely silent.

Everyone looked at one another, their eyes full of vigilance.

No one dared make a rash move.

One careless action could be misunderstood and draw an attack.

Even many of the undercover Hydra agents did not dare move recklessly. They did not all know who else was Hydra.

In the original plot of Avengers: Endgame, the time-traveling Captain America had successfully taken the Tesseract from Rumlow's strike team by pretending to be Hydra.

Captain America's method of disguise had been simple. Before everyone in the strike team, he had quietly uttered a slogan:

Hail Hydra!

Then Rumlow had handed the Tesseract over to Captain America.

Rumlow might have seemed a little stupid, but in truth, it was because they had hidden themselves too deeply!

Anyone who knew their identities and dared shout that slogan had to be one of their own.

Suddenly, a gruff male voice cut in over the broadcast.

Clearly, Hydra within the technical department had already hacked into the broadcasting room.

"Don't listen to his nonsense. Nick Fury is Hydra! He is stopping the Helicarriers from taking off because he fears that S.H.I.E.L.D. will uncover Hydra and wipe them out."

"Captain America must have been bought off by Nick Fury. You absolutely cannot believe him."

This only threw everyone into even greater confusion.

No one knew whom to trust.

Helicarrier control room.

Someone suddenly drew a pistol and pointed it at a technician. "Enter the command. Accelerate the Helicarrier's takeoff."

The technician said, "Uh... there are still nineteen inspections left unfinished. The carrier cannot take off."

"Cancel the inspections. Take off immediately."

"Sorry, I can't do that!"

"What did you say?!"

The gun pressed harder
