Shadow Dagger Chiwami lowered his eyes, quietly set down the loaded hand crossbow, and covered the dagger at his waist, leaving no trace of danger to be seen. Only then did he, dressed in a black robe, step soundlessly out from the corner and arrive at the center of the great tent. On the other side, the Secret Guard saw him, gave a slight nod, then signaled with his eyes.
The two of them kept silent and looked together at the seemingly sleeping Divine King Avet. They were quiet for a moment, as though patiently waiting for a while, before Shadow Dagger spoke.
"May the ancestors bless us. This is a peaceful night! Send Prince Xolotl to the Royal Tent beside us to rest... gently. Do not disturb His Highness's sweet dreams!..."
The Secret Guard nodded, but did not move. Shadow Dagger Chiwami also stopped, hearing only the snores of the two kings. A moment later, the two men standing there exchanged a glance, then carefully stepped forward, lifted Xolotl with light hands and feet, passed into the edge of the bonfire's glow, and walked into the dark night outside the tent.
The night was soundless. Moonlight fell from the top of the tent; it was indeed a peaceful and beautiful night. Quite some time later, in the pale moonlight, Avet silently sat up and gazed at the deep darkness beyond the tent flap, letting out a long, faint sigh.

The Divine King beneath the moonlight murmured two sentences, his face filled with complex, shifting expressions. At some unknown point, Shadow Dagger Chiwami had already returned alone and
