After Luo Jiuge rushed into the snowy forest, she had not run far before her chest started to ache.
Her fight with Vivienne had nearly drained all the strength she had left, and injuries covered her body one after another.
To make matters worse, the sounds behind her were getting closer and closer.
Luo Jiuge gritted her teeth and ran forward for a while. When she rounded a massive boulder, she quickly reached into her backpack.
Her equipment was still there, her items were still there, and there was plenty of miscellaneous junk too.
After rummaging around for a long time, she finally dug out several glass bottles from the very bottom.

When Luo Jiuge saw those words, she nearly wanted to bow to her past self for hoarding supplies.

She pulled out the stopper and downed it in one gulp.
The potion tasted as awful as ever, bitter with a strange grassy tang.
But warmth flowed down her throat and quickly spread through her limbs. The tearing pain in her chest eased somewhat as well.

Low-level potions could not heal serious wounds, but they could at least restore her enough to keep running.

She casually stuffed the empty bottles back into her backpack and continued deeper into the snowy forest.
Just as she crossed a patch of low shrubs, rustling suddenly came from behind her.
Luo Jiuge's heart tightened, and she reached back for her sword.
Then a small grayish-white figure darted out from behind the snow slope and scrambled after her on all fours.

Kaka was panting hard, its two legs moving rapidly as it chased after her and shouted.
