During that fraction of a second when Calamity Gundam's movements stalled, the large-caliber, high-velocity electromagnetic cannons on both sides of the Experimental Nuclear Zaku's waist had already locked on.
The dull firing vibrations traveled through the armor into the cockpit. Two high-density armor-piercing rounds roared from the barrels at speeds too fast for the naked eye to follow, striking the center of Calamity Gundam's heavy chest armor with perfect accuracy. Though Calamity Gundam possessed Phase Shift Armor, at such close range, the terrifying kinetic impact of the ultra-high-velocity electromagnetic rounds still transmitted violently through the armor plating and into the frame and cockpit.

Orga was shaken so violently inside the cockpit that it felt as if his organs had been displaced. Calamity Gundam's movements stiffened fatally.
