Background

Subordinate position in the United Army

The Spark Project exploited the Heliopolis attack to obtain GAT-X frame data, Phase-Shift Armor details, weapons parameters, control-software architecture, and Dawn Society engineering logs 8. Following Jiachen’s unsupervised command optimization and increasingly anomalous predictions, East Asia created ethics, safety, and audit mechanisms around the system. History

Black Iron deployment

East Asia first deployed the unfinished Black Iron prototype against unidentified Dagger units entering its air-defense identification zone near Industrial Zone Nine. Despite mechanical risks, Han Zheng successfully airdropped the machine and engaged the intruders 19.

The East Asian Republic formally commissioned its Space Force in the Orb Special Zone. Its initial structure included three escort groups and one flagship task force, with the Great Wall as temporary flagship and Orb as the principal technology and supply base 100.

With GENESIS preparing to fire, East Asia authorized Mirror-Sunder Operation. The Space Force entered the Yakin battlefield as the Third Pole, with the declared objective of disabling extermination weapons without serving either the United Army or ZAFT 103 104.

The Kunlun’s Volcano Cannons destroyed sections of GENESIS’s main reflector array and severed its power-supply ring, disrupting its Earth-targeting axis 110. East Asia later destroyed GENESIS’s main mirror array, backup array, and energy foundation, ending the immediate extinction threat 121.

Postwar political position

After Yakin, East Asia rejected Atlantic Federation control of GENESIS wreckage and secured a three-party sealing arrangement with the PLANT Interim Council and the Archangel observer group 121.

When the Royal Foundation used Requiem, Black Knights, human experimentation, and royal authentication systems to destabilize Eurasia, East Asia sought formal United authorization for a limited intervention.
