Qian Ye survived Sunagakure’s attacks on the supply convoy and Kikyo Pass, using a revolver and a rocket launcher to kill enemy ninja and earn Orochimaru’s attention. After becoming Orochimaru’s disciple and gaining new training resources, Qian Ye returned to the front as another attack began.

• Qian Ye left for Kikyo Pass with the supply convoy, survived Rasa’s ambush, and killed a pursuing Sunagakure ninja with a rocket launcher sent by Zhao Hai.
• Qian Ye reached No. 3 Outpost with news of the attack, and Orochimaru’s warning prompted Rasa to launch a full assault on Kikyo Pass.
• Qian Ye trained with Garp’s physical regimen, then defended the right flank and killed more than twenty Sunagakure ninja with his revolver before Pakura pursued him.
• Pakura abandoned the battlefield to chase Qian Ye, and the Hidden Leaf stopped the right-flank advance, and Qian Ye returned to the outpost and became known as the Bare-Assed War God.
• Orochimaru summoned Qian Ye, who discussed immortality with him and accepted his offer to become a disciple.

• Qian Ye survived Ryuchi Cave’s trials, signed its Core Summoning Contract, and chose the Yin Seal as the S-rank technique he wanted to learn.
• Danzo ordered Root operatives to kill Pakura and frame White Fang’s former subordinates, but Qian Ye fought off the ambush and protected the escort team.
• Yi detonated himself after condemning Hiruzen, and Qian Ye carried Pakura clear of the blast as the wounded group continued toward Konohagakure.
• Qian Ye inspired the young clan heirs with new training ideas and warnings about the village leadership, then founded the Sparkfire Society with them.
• Kakashi heard villagers insult Sakumo, and Sakumo encouraged his son to find his own path while privately planning to pass down the Hatake clan scroll and take his own life.

Qian Ye secured the Yin Seal, navigated Danzo’s attempt to recruit him, and prepared to escort Pakura to a prisoner exchange. Before departing, he offered Uchiha Yan a plan to improve the Police Force’s standing with Konoha’s civilians.

• Qian Ye brought Pakura and the injured clan heirs to Konoha, where they testified that Sunagakure shinobi had attacked them, and Hiruzen authorized Qian Ye to study the Yin Seal.
• Qian Ye defended Hatake Sakumo to villagers, then studied the Yin Seal and began forming a chakra reservoir in his forehead.
• Qian Ye shared the Yin Seal with Zhao Hai, who learned to form a small reservoir while enduring Garp’s training.
• Rasa agreed to a prisoner exchange while secretly planning an ambush with Sunagakure and Iwagakure, and Qian Ye warned Hiruzen that the deal might be a trap.
• Hiruzen assigned Qian Ye to escort Pakura to the Land of Rivers border, and Qian Ye suspected Rasa would betray her.
• Danzo summoned Qian Ye to Root, but Qian Ye won his favor by flattering him and offering to gather intelligence on the Uchiha, while Hiruzen sent ANBU to check on him.

• Yugito released Matatabi and threatened the wounded, so Qian Ye summoned Garp, who battered the Two-Tails and disrupted the enemy’s attack.
• Dodai escaped underground with Yugito as Chiyo collapsed the canyon, and Garp held back the falling cliff while Minato evacuated Qian Ye, Pakura, and the injured ANBU.
• Garp disappeared after Qian Ye promised Zhao Hai would provide his water-walking method, and Pakura chased the wounded Chiyo through the western ruins.
