Night on the Demon Continent, around the circular hearth in Rowin's home.
Rowin, Rokari, Alice, Sylphy, and Cui Ciyou sat around the warm fire.
Rujierd, the silent Superd warrior, also sat quietly beside them.
Alice broke the silence, looking at Rujierd with genuine curiosity and confusion:
"Rujierd, about those rumors concerning the Superd Race..."
"Like how you attacked people in the war without distinguishing friend from foe, and how you're called a 'terrifying race'-what really happened?"
"You don't look like a bad guy to me."
Alice's gaze was calm and earnest, without a trace of fear, only a desire for the truth.
Sylphy looked concerned as well.
After traveling with Rujierd for many days, they were curious about the powerful warrior's past.
Rowin and Rokari exchanged a glance. As elders of the Migurd, they had naturally heard the many legends of the Demon Continent.
Rujierd's eyes instantly sharpened, and an intimidating aura radiated from him.
Alice, he helped you, and now you're rubbing salt in his wounds!
Cui Ciyou watched Rujierd's expression change at Alice's questions.
"Alice, don't be so rude!"
Alice looked defiant.
"What's wrong with it...? You have to understand each other to become friends!"
Alice actually has something that insightful to say!
Cui Ciyou considered her words, then answered calmly:
"You're not wrong! But you should still be careful about how you-"
"It's all right!"
"That isn't the truth!" Rujierd interrupted Cui Ciyou, his voice low and forceful.
"It was Laplace's plot! The Superd Race is not inherently evil!"
He took a deep breath, as though he had made up his mind. His gaze swept over everyone present before he slowly began:
"Since you want to know, I'll tell you about that distorted history."
"Unlike the other Demonfolk, we of the Superd Race are born warriors!"
