It was astonishingly broad as well, looking sturdy and tenacious. A pallid human skull was embedded like a gemstone in its chest, giving off an ominous glow.
"An A-Rank monster, the Mad Skeleton."

Yet just before her sword tip reached its weak point, the skull, the seemingly sluggish Mad Skeleton displayed a cunning that belied its appearance.
The mud on its chest writhed, burying the skull that served as its core deep inside its body!

Elinalise's sword pierced the mud giant without resistance, but it was like stabbing into a shapeless swamp. The viscous mud absorbed every bit of force.
At the same time, the Mad Skeleton's enormous muddy arm came crashing down like a battering ram, the wind howling around it!
Elinalise could only pull her sword free and retreat, narrowly avoiding the crushing blow.
