I Want the Intel, but I Want Him Dead Too

Looking at the strange figure before him, Uchiha Ensei was growing impatient.

He had killed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, only for a clone Isshiki had left behind to appear.

If he killed this clone too, would something else pop up?

And although the creature had appeared atop the Ten-Tails' head, Uchiha Ensei could still feel that he had considerable control over the Ten-Tails.

With a thought, Uchiha Ensei made the Ten-Tails reach up, grab the thing that had sprouted from its head, and yank.

The next moment, it pulled the so-called Jura free like a blackhead.

Judging by the hint he had received, that was essentially what the job amounted to.

The Ten-Tails tightened its grip, crushing the newcomer into a pulp before flinging him to the ground.

Just as Uchiha Ensei wondered why he had been so fragile, the mess on the ground gathered itself back together.

"You... really are impatient!"

"I'm not an idiot like Code. I only exist as a byproduct of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's forbidden experiments."

"So I'm not especially strong, but I know many of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's secrets. Interested?"

Jura's words were tempting.

But to Uchiha Ensei, no temptation mattered more than his own safety.

For now, though, there seemed to be no need to kill Jura.

Seeing Jura stare at an empty patch of ground, Uchiha Ensei knew his Kyōka Suigetsu ocular technique was as reliable as ever.

"Go on, then. You haven't earned my trust yet."

Through Kyōka Suigetsu, Uchiha Ensei made Jura hear the words he wanted him to hear.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Ensei created a Wood Clone, sent him to Jura's side, and began inscribing a sealing formula on Jura's body.

With Jura's five senses under his control, the process would go unnoticed so long as Uchiha Ensei avoided touching the chakra inside Jura.
