Eli and the others naturally did not just cheer for Harry, who had displayed such overwhelming power. They all raised their Wands again and stood alongside him.

The dazzling light completely blurred their figures, while barrier-like shock waves spread outward one after another.

With hundreds of Dementors facing such tremendous power, how could they dare attack again? Some fled, and some died.

When there were no more Dementors in sight, the group stood there panting, Wands in hand. Everyone had just exhausted themselves releasing magic with all their might, and they were completely drained.

"This place isn't safe. We have to leave!" Lupin looked around and smoothed down his disheveled hair.

"Where?" Ron clearly did not want to move another inch. They had just completed two long-distance runs and then experienced magical exhaustion. Making him run now would be nothing short of torture.

The others also looked toward Lupin, hoping he could suggest somewhere suitable.

Lupin glanced at the young Wizards and pulled Sirius Black up from the ground. "I know a place. It's absolutely safe—the Shrieking Shack."

Draco Malfoy looked at Lupin in astonishment, his expression seeming to say, Are you serious?

Ron's expression was none too pleasant either. The Shrieking Shack was a notorious haunted house. Going there would be no different from facing a Dementor.

Harry did not care one way or the other. Hermione Granger and Eli both nodded.

"That's a good idea, children." Sirius Black patted the fallen leaves and dust from his backside, though it hardly mattered whether he tidied himself up in his current state.

"Speaking of which, the Shrieking Shack was somewhat connected to us back then. Anyway, it isn't haunted like the nearby residents claim." After speaking with the others, Sirius Black finally stopped looking like a madman.
