"A bunch of useless idiots! Forget them, get out of here!" one of them shouted. After only glancing a few more times at his bedraggled companions, he turned and ran without looking back, disappearing among the ruins.

The other Death Eaters stopped pressing the attack as well and followed him away.

Seeing that the Death Eaters had all been driven off, Eli waved his Wand again. The Golden-Red Flame filling the sky seemed to possess a mind of its own as it all streamed back into Eli's Wand, as though it had never appeared.

"Get out of here, quickly. Don't get tangled up with them," Arthur Weasley said. He refused to remain any longer and urged everyone toward the woods.

The Death Eaters had already been driven elsewhere, and Eli did not stubbornly pursue them any further. At the very least, the Roberts family had been saved.

"Come on, hurry up! Stop dawdling, this is no time for jokes!" Sirius Black said, leaving no room for argument as he grabbed Eli and dragged him away, refusing to let Eli come up with any more bad ideas.
