The giant sat beneath a tree so thick it would take six people to wrap their arms around it. Looking closely, they saw a hemp rope as thick as an arm tied around his foot, though it looked very thin compared to his ankle.
"This is your brother?" Ron Weasley's eyes widened. He tilted his head back to examine Grawp from top to bottom, then looked at Hagrid again, utterly incredulous.
Judging by their appearances, there was not a single feature Grawp shared with Hagrid.
Perhaps because of his size, Grawp, as a Pure-blood giant, did indeed look different from humans. At the very least, he gave off the impression of not being particularly intelligent at first glance.
Hagrid stood beside Grawp's feet and could barely reach his stomach. "Yes, he's my mother's child with another giant."
Then Hagrid's voice sank, and he lowered his head. "You know, Umbridge became Headmistress. She'll definitely find every way she can to get rid of anyone connected to Dumbledore. I might have to leave Hogwarts, but Grawp needs someone to look after him."
