Eli now felt that things were taking a turn for the worse, and he needed to get past Crabbe and find the diary as soon as possible.

He still had no way to tell Dumbledore; otherwise, how could he explain how he had gotten this diary in the first place?

If there were no one else around, Eli would just cast Legilimency on Crabbe directly, and follow it up with an Obliviate once he was done, which would be quite simple.

Yet Crabbe and Goyle were always inseparable, and they constantly played the sycophant to Draco.

He could not just walk right up in front of other people and pull off a smooth, flowing sequence of spells like that.

What a wretched little fatty, he was truly a nuisance!

Lately he had been busy with the potions shop business, mostly collecting money, hehe...

Now the factory and the store were being reorganized, and he was happy to have some leisure time.

"Might as well go see how their training is coming along."

He temporarily put the matter of the diary out of his mind; anyway, Crabbe had him keeping an eye on him, and if he wanted to go release the Basilisk, there was simply no way it could escape Eli's notice.

He changed into his school uniform and went down to the pitch.

On the other side, two groups of people, one red and one green, appeared to be confronting each other.

"Sorry, but the pitch has already been reserved by us today."

Wood, the Gryffindor team captain, said to the Slytherins walking toward them.

Judging by their posture, they wanted the pitch as well.

There was a bucktoothed fellow on the Slytherin side who looked hateful at first glance; indeed, this chap was the Slytherin captain, Marcus Flint.
