"Harry Potter, are you really going to do this?"
Fudge asked Harry Potter below in a somewhat exaggerated tone.
He found it a bit hard to believe. The Potter family fortune was no small sum, so how could Harry Potter just give it away like that?
Harry's gaze was exceptionally resolute, even as he faced the questioning of the Minister for Magic. "I am the heir to the Potter family, and I have the right to dispose of my property!"
"You..."
Fudge widened his eyes, but could say nothing more. This slender-framed teenager seemed as though he could spread his arms to protect everyone behind him.
He leaned against the back of his chair with a drained air. "Then... in that case, Eli Hall... is innocent."
When he spoke that final word, he seemed to have lost all his strength. His prestige as the Minister for Magic was swept away.
"Dismissed!"
He stood up and left directly.
The rest of the Wizengamot and Ministry members also stood up and left one after another.
Quite a few people went over to greet Dumbledore.
"Ah, what a wonderful congratulations. How precious brotherhood is! Congratulations to you both."
"Uh... um... ah..."
Harry and Eli looked at each other, not knowing what to say for a moment, stuttering.
Then both of them extended a hand at the same time. Eli reached out with both hands, and Harry extended one.
"Er..."
Amidst the awkwardness, the two hurriedly switched, resulting in Harry extending both hands while Eli made a handshake gesture once more.
For a moment, the awkwardness reached its peak.
"Ahem..."
Dumbledore at the side simply couldn't bear to watch any longer, quietly and secretly channeling a bit of magic.
Eli and Harry were pushed forward as if by an unseen hand, embracing each other.
