Background

Qin Yaxin was a young member of the Qin Household in Chi City and regularly visited Blackstone Martial Hall. She made a habit of personally bidding farewell to its elderly kitchen worker, Lu Fan, and invited him to the banquet commemorating her Bright Force breakthrough. 1

As the Qin Household came under attack from Thunder Martial Hall and the Feng Household, her relationship with Blackstone Martial Hall became politically significant. Her ambush alongside Zhang Zhi exposed the conflict openly and helped prompt the Qin Household–Blackstone Martial Hall alliance. 10 12

Left at Ma Sheng’s mercy, Qin Yaxin prepares to kill herself rather than endure humiliation. Old Chen intervenes, orders her to flee, and secretly brings her to Shen Yuniang’s shop. She leaves her father’s body behind with a vow of revenge. 29 30

Escape to Lidu
