Background

Five hundred years before the story, the Astral Realm invaded Azure Star. The resulting changes introduced high-level cosmic stellar energy and caused animals to mutate into dangerous ferocious beasts and Star Beasts. In response, humanity pioneered the Starry Sky Martial Arts System and produced large numbers of Starry-Sky Warriors. 1

Starry-Sky Warriors occupy an elevated position in human society because their cultivation grants strength, mobility, longevity, and the capacity to oppose existential threats. Human civilization’s recovery and continued dominance on Azure Star are credited to the warriors, kings, and marquises who resisted the Star Beast invasions. 1 13 30

The distinction between an ordinary hunter and a Starry-Sky Warrior is the refinement of Natal Stellar Force. Hunters may possess body-tempering strength and hunt mutated beasts, but they have not entered the Stellar Martial Path. 1

Natal Stellar Force is the core power of a Starry-Sky Warrior. It is refined from cosmic stellar energy through the Starry Sky Breathing Method after a cultivator completes body tempering. 15 17

• Earth Tier — Techniques capable of allowing a warrior to fight multiple opponents of the same realm; users are considered geniuses. 22

Weapon Techniques

Certification and Status

The Official Starry-Sky Warrior Association regulates access to the Starry Sky Breathing Method and certifies qualified warriors. Unauthorized teaching of the Breathing Method is punishable under Federation law. 16

Role in the Human–Star Beast Conflict

Starry-Sky Warriors are humanity’s principal force against Star Beasts and Stellar Behemoths. Their badge progression, Contribution Point system, fortresses, and cultivation infrastructure are all structured around this continuing conflict. 21 31

Humanity has driven Star Beasts back into the Astral Realms, but Minor Astral Realms remain hostile worlds filled with resources and powerful native creatures. Humans enter these realms to hunt Star Beasts and obtain cultivation materials, making the struggle one of survival between races. 30
