Arc 1The Hyuga’s Breaking Point

Hyuga Hitoshi maneuvered the Uchiha and Konoha’s leaders into conflict while preparing the Hyuga Clan to leave the village. As Fugaku brought ANBU suspects to a public trial, Asuma warned Hiruzen that the Uchiha had rebelled.

Arc 2The Moon Clan’s Rise

Hyuga Hitoshi turned the Nine-Tails controversy and Konoha’s war crisis to his advantage while preparing the Hyuga Clan’s move to the moon. He took control of the moon’s Otsutsuki, freed Kaguya’s consciousness, and set out with her as his power grew.

  • Uchiha Satoshi and Fugaku accused Konoha’s leadership of keeping the Uchiha from stopping the Nine-Tails, and the villagers turned their anger toward Sarutobi, Danzo, and Kakashi.
  • Sarutobi assigned the Uchiha to guard Konoha and the Hyuga to remain with them, while Hitoshi accepted the duty and challenged Sarutobi to lead the fight against Kumogakure.
  • Hitoshi awakened Byakugan—Coercion, revealed the Hyuga Clan’s connection to the moon’s Otsutsuki, and persuaded Kakashi to follow him after telling him Obito had controlled the Nine-Tails.

Arc 3The Hyuga Frontline

Hyuga Hitoshi captured Yugito, challenged Danzo’s influence in Konoha, and led the Hyuga Clan into battle against Kumogakure and Iwagakure. The arc ended with Hitoshi fighting the Raikage and Killer B while rescuing wounded Hyuga on the battlefield.

  • Hyuga Hitoshi captured Yugito Nii and brought her back to Konoha, where Danzo returned to a hero’s welcome as Tsunade confronted him.
  • When Kumogakure and Iwagakure attacked Konoha together, Hitoshi and Uchiha Fugaku challenged the village leadership and secured concessions for their clans.

Arc 4The Hyuga Break with Konoha

Hyuga Hitoshi exposed the leaders’ secret plans to seize the Uchiha and Hyuga kekkei genkai, then rejected Konoha’s demands and led his clan away from the village. Fugaku pledged Uchiha support as Hitoshi connected with the Tenseigan and the war’s political order collapsed.

  • Fugaku and Shisui battled Ōnoki’s forces while Kakashi used Kamui to save Shisui, and Konoha eventually drove Ōnoki into retreat.
  • Hyuga Hitoshi helped the Hyuga survive Kumogakure’s attack, then strengthened his alliance with Fugaku as the Uchiha arrived to support them.
