"Alright, I'll take you to see Flender first."

Tang Hao coughed lightly and made the suggestion.

Though he felt Gangzi was even more useless now, unable even to hold Bibi Dong back, he did not show it. At the very least, Gangzi could still try being his son's mount.

"Alright." Yu Xiaogang drew a breath and nodded uneasily.

He had not been prepared to see Flender when he came back.

After all, Flender had once advised him to restrain himself, but he had treated those words like fart.

The two headed straight for the little wooden cabin at the center of the academy.

Flender had not gone to Suotuo City to earn funding today. When he suddenly saw a familiar yet unfamiliar figure enter, his eyes immediately welled up.

"Xiaogang, is that you? Why did you come back?"

Flender hurried forward, wrapped him in a hug, and fiercely patted his back so hard that he could barely breathe.

"Cough, cough! Flender, stop it! My body is about to fall apart."

Yu Xiaogang coughed repeatedly and pushed hard against Flender's chest.

"Oh, oh, sorry, Xiaogang. I was just... just too excited."

Flender gave an embarrassed laugh and released him.

Looking at Yu Xiaogang, he sighed. "Xiaogang, it's been so long. You've gotten thinner. That stench of shit on you is still as strong as ever. I haven't smelled it in ages."

Yu Xiaogang's old face darkened. He somehow felt insulted, yet it was the truth. Ever since he had fallen into becoming an Evil Soul Master, he had given off a stench like shit.

"Sigh, Xiaogang, it seems you don't have any Soul Power fluctuations."

Flender sized him up and quickly noticed something unusual about him, his brows furrowing slightly.

"It was all the fault of those damnable Spirit Hall bastards!
