Taking Action

The waiter froze for a moment, then asked tentatively, "You are?"

The blond man—Dai Mubai—said impatiently, "Get your manager out here."

Meeting Dai Mubai's gaze, the waiter felt a chill run through his heart and hurried to the back to fetch his supervisor.

Tang San frowned as he looked at the imposing young man before him. He stepped forward and spoke calmly. "Big brother, it seems we were here first."

Only then did Dai Mubai seem to notice there were others beside him. He tilted his head slightly, his evil eyes casually sweeping over Tang San with a trace of disdain before finally settling on Cinderella behind him.

When he saw Cinderella's breathtakingly beautiful face and her clear lake-blue eyes, undisguised amazement flashed through his gaze. Yet it was quickly replaced by a condescending, teasing look.

He snorted disdainfully, not even turning his head as he spoke in an openly casual tone. "So what?"

His words were extremely overbearing, as though the hotel's rules had been made solely for him.

The atmosphere immediately grew tense.

Just then, the waiter hurried over from the back with a middle-aged man in a manager's uniform.

At the sight of this, the manager's face filled with a smooth, ingratiating smile.

"Let's talk this out. Let's talk this out. Please, don't resort to violence."

The manager first tried to calm both sides, then immediately turned to Tang San and Cinderella with a professional expression of apology.

"My apologies, honored guests. That room has indeed been reserved by Young Master Dai for a long time. This was an oversight on our part; we failed to inform you in time. Please choose another establishment."

Tang San ignored the manager. He looked at Cinderella and asked in a low voice, "Sister, what do you think?"
