Cinderella was drawn by Lin Wan and randomly placed by the system as a golden-haired infant near the Star Dou Great Forest. Left alone in the wilderness for several days, she survived through her ability to communicate with animals: birds brought fruit juice, a doe provided milk, and squirrels kept her warm. After a sparrow warned her of an approaching carriage, she cried to attract help. 18 19

Tang Hao and the pregnant A Yin found her. A Yin immediately chose to adopt Cinderella, and Tang Hao agreed because of his devotion to A Yin. Cinderella quickly recognized A Yin as the center of the household and deliberately won her affection by smiling at her and playing with her Blue Silver Grass. 19

A Yin's death and life in Holy Soul Village

Cinderella was present when Martial Soul Hall ambushed Tang Hao and A Yin immediately after Tang San's birth. A Yin kissed both infants, enclosed them in a Blue Silver Grass cocoon, and sacrificed herself to empower Tang Hao. Cinderella witnessed the sacrifice and relied on the system's life-protection mechanism while Tang Hao escaped with the children. 20

Tang Hao's grief initially left him unable to notice that Cinderella and Tang San were hungry and cold. Cinderella's desperate crying eventually forced him to recognize his neglect. 24 25
