Even with the Ibuse toxin they had recently seized, it still could not meet the ninja's daily needs.

The latest medicine sat in Tsunade's office. Since Dan Katō's death, she had seemed somewhat dispirited. Yuu knew her convictions had taken a blow.

Fortunately, Tsunade had not been crushed by it, nor had she developed hemophobia. That was a small blessing amid misfortune. Yuu also had no intention of monopolizing authority, so he handed the hospital's main affairs back to Tsunade. He could not let complicated matters tie his hands and feet.

Hanzo's Ibuse in particular possessed toxin far more potent than that of ordinary Ibuse. Even with the antidote pills developed by Uchiha Yuu, the results remained unsatisfactory.

"What did Lord Orochimaru say? Should we increase the number of ninja? Now that Sunagakure is helping us shoulder Kirigakure's pressure, this is the best time to crush them."

He occasionally went to Orochimaru to discuss supplies, and Orochimaru had told him about Amegakure's problems.
