Background / History

Early medical work

Tsunade had previously investigated Uchiha You's unusual burns and attempted to treat him, but her Medical Ninjutsu had no effect on his mutated body. At the Third Hokage's request, she re-examined him after his condition visibly improved, discovering that his lower body still had severe damage between its bones and muscles.
