It was also his first time fighting a Sword Cultivator. Sword Cultivators were said to excel at defeating opponents above their level. With no flashy techniques to fall back on, Wen Xu had a hard time winning. Fortunately, the gap in their cultivation was small, and he secured victory at the last moment with the Wind-Stacking Formation.
But Wen Xu knew that just as they studied the techniques and fighting styles of the winners, others were surely studying theirs. The Wind-Stacking Formation was useful, but it was also easy to counter. He had only managed to use it at the end of this match because his earlier attempts had been interrupted again and again. His future opponents would only be stronger. If he did not change his approach, winning again with his level of cultivation would be difficult.
