Characteristics

Mount Buzhou was formed from Great God Pangu’s spine and supports heaven and earth. It radiates overwhelming Pangu pressure that makes ordinary Zenith Heaven Golden Immortals struggle even to fly and can shake their Primordial Spirits. To the Twelve Ancestral Witches, formed from Pangu’s essence blood, that same pressure feels heavy but warm and familiar. 3

• Its upper regions are inaccessible to the Ancestral Witches at their early Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal cultivation; Dijiang, Houtu, and Xuanming descend after reaching their limit. 4

History

Early exploration

Dijiang began exploring Mount Buzhou with Houtu and Xuanming after allowing the other Ancestral Witches to travel the Primordial Wilderness. Using their Pangu bloodline affinity and Dijiang’s Space Law, the three crossed terrain that would have been perilous to ordinary cultivators and collected immortal herbs, innate Geng Metal, and other resources over several centuries. 3

Halfway up the mountain, Houtu sensed unusually dense Earth Origin. Dijiang cut through a natural innate concealment array, exposing a hidden grotto-heaven containing Three Lights Divine Water, Nine Heavens Resting Soil, and the newly sprouted Primordial Gourd Vine. He left the vine in place, nourished it with creation qi from the Creation Jade Disk, and concealed the grotto-heaven behind a Triple Spatial Maze Array. 4

Refuge of the living beings

During the Three Clans War, Dijiang chose Mount Buzhou as a refuge for weak creatures, rogue cultivators, and displaced beings. After the Twelve Ancestral Witches gathered several million survivors, Dijiang used the mountain’s earth veins as the core of a massive Spirit-Gathering Formation. The formation blocked Pangu’s pressure, gathered spiritual qi, and turned the surrounding area into a habitable cultivation sanctuary. 14

The residents’ gratitude generated fortune for the Twelve Ancestral Witches. As the protected population grew to ten million, Dijiang formally placed them under the Pangu Orthodox Lineage’s protection, prohibited unauthorized departures and private fighting within the formation, and transmitted the Pangu Heart-Clearing Formula to them. 16

Center of Dao transmission

After the great calamities, the Twelve Ancestral Witches began preaching at Mount Buzhou. Their lectures focused on practical cultivation and direct understanding of laws, making them accessible to lower-level beings unable to reach Violet Firmament Palace. 33 35 36

The open sermons drew attendees from across the Primordial Wilderness, expanding the population around the mountain from tens of millions to tens of billions. The resulting Fortune Golden Dragon was said to rival the fortune of the three ancient clans at their height. 36

Dijiang subsequently converted Mount Buzhou from a refuge into an organized sacred land by establishing rules, a Dao Protector Army, and a Dao Transmission Pavilion. 36

Gourd Vine dispute

The Primordial Gourd Vine matured on Mount Buzhou after Hongjun’s first sermon, bearing seven gourds that each contained the embryo of a Supreme-Grade Innate Spirit Treasure. Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Di Jun, Taiyi, Nuwa, Fuxi, Red Cloud, and other powers arrived to contest the treasures. 37

Dijiang emerged from the concealed grotto-heaven and demonstrated that the vine had been nurtured with his creation qi. The Twelve Ancestral Witches ultimately secured all seven gourds; Dijiang later removed the gourd vine and Nine Heavens Resting Soil from Mount Buzhou for preservation. 37 39

Witch Cult sacred land

Following Hongjun’s merger with Heaven’s Way and the Demon Race’s establishment, Dijiang formally founded the Witch Cult on Mount Buzhou. All beings who entered the mountain to cultivate the Great Dao of laws were declared Witch Cult disciples. 55

Heaven’s Way recognized the declaration through the collective fortune of the hundreds of billions of beings around Mount Buzhou. Their fortune manifested as a Pangu Phantom before dividing among the Twelve Ancestral Witches, greatly advancing their cultivation. 56

Pangu Hall

Pangu Hall is the seat of the Twelve Ancestral Witches on Mount Buzhou.

The Dao Protector Army was established to maintain order when the Twelve Ancestral Witches could not personally oversee the rapidly expanding population. 36

Law Stele Grove

The Law Stele Grove was opened to Primordial Unity Golden Immortals after Hongjun merged with the Dao. 55

Rules

Dijiang’s three principal regulations for those entering Mount Buzhou are: 36

1. No private fighting or vendetta killings within the Spirit-Gathering Formation; violators are executed.
2. No oppression of weaker cultivators; violators have their cultivation abolished and are expelled.
3. Those with grave karma or malicious intentions must leave within one hundred years or face punishment.

Significance
