  • Dijiang told Kong Jue that he had spared Di Jun because killing the Demon Clan leaders would damage their Fortune, and ordered him to watch Kunlun Mountain for the Three Pure Ones’ next move.
  • The Three Pure Ones opened their gates and began taking disciples, prompting cultivators across the Primordial World to hurry toward Kunlun Mountain.

Ch. 102Intercepting Recruits for the Western Religion

Ch. 103Exposed

The Three Pure Ones discovered that Jieyin and Zhunti had diverted promising seekers from Kunlun Mountain and confronted them, but the Western Sages escaped with their recruits. Dijiang then ordered the Ancestor Witches to seek talented disciples, while Di Jun focused on finishing the Formation Flags for the Demon Court.

  • Yuanshi Tianzun, Laozi, and Master Tongtian realized that promising seekers were turning west before reaching Kunlun Mountain, and Laozi identified Jieyin and Zhunti as the cause.

Ch. 110Taking Both the Treasure and the Men

Dijiang took Hong Yun’s Nine-Nine Soul-Scattering Gourd and Primordial Purple Qi, then gave the qi to Houtu and recruited Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi into the Heavenly Court. Di Jun and Taiyi returned to the Sun God Palace furious after losing their chance to obtain the Primordial Purple Qi.

  • Hong Yun handed Zhu Jiuyin the Nine-Nine Soul-Scattering Gourd and Primordial Purple Qi in payment, then followed him to Mount Buzhou with Zhen Yuanzi.

  • Di Jun and Taiyi returned to the Sun God Palace, where Di Jun raged over Zhu Jiuyin ruining their attempt to obtain the Primordial Purple Qi.

Ch. 111Hongjun Intervened

Hongjun offered Di Jun and Taiyi heavenly dao power in exchange for the Demon Clan’s loyalty, and Di Jun accepted so his people could contend with the Witch Cult. Meanwhile, Kong Xuan and Six-Eared Macaque left the Human Clan settlement to seek opportunities and arrived at Wuyi Mountain, where they sensed someone nearby.

  • Di Jun lamented that the Demon Clan could not overcome the Witch Cult, then Hongjun appeared in the Sun God Palace.

Ch. 112Six Ears Meets the Three Xiao Sisters

The Six-Eared Macaque and Kong Xuan met Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao Sisters as they traveled to seek a master at Kunlun Mountain, and tried to persuade them to join the Witch Cult. The four were left stunned by the claim that the Witch Cult had defeated the Three Pure Ones, but still had not chosen their path.

  • Bixiao questioned whether the Primordial Heavenly Venerable would accept them, while Zhao Gongming and the sisters debated seeking the Witch Cult instead.
  • The Six-Eared Macaque introduced himself as a personal disciple of Dijiang and urged the four to go to Mount Buzhou rather than Kunlun Mountain.

Ch. 114Shadows in the Violet Firmament Palace

Fuxi left the Demon Clan after learning that Di Jun had accepted Hongjun’s heaven’s way power, choosing to seek his own path to the Dao. His departure weakened the Demon Clan further, while shadowy figures in Violet Firmament Palace offered Hongjun help against the Witch Cult in exchange for entering the Primordial World.

  • Fuxi told Nuwa that Di Jun had accepted Hongjun’s heaven’s way power and that Bai Ze had left the Demon Clan, then resolved to leave and seek his own Dao.
  • Nuwa gave Fuxi a jade talisman containing a trace of her Sage essence, and Fuxi sent Di Jun word of his decision before departing for the Primordial Wilderness Continent.
  • Di Jun expelled Fuxi from the Demon Clan and severed his karmic ties, after which news of Bai Ze and Fuxi’s departures spread and the Demon Clan’s prestige and fortune declined.
  • Hongjun lamented that Bai Ze and Fuxi’s departures had damaged his plan to counterbalance the Witch Cult.
  • Several ancient, malevolent shadows appeared in Violet Firmament Palace and offered to help Hongjun eliminate the twelve wild cards if he let them enter the Primordial World, but Hongjun rejected their proposal.

Ch. 115Inviting Bai Ze

  • Hongjun refused to let the Chaos Fiends into the Primordial World, then considered whether the Demon Clan and Three Pure Ones could still oppose the Witch Cult.
  • Dijiang and the other witches rejected Zhu Rong’s plan to attack the Sun Star and decided instead to recruit Bai Ze and Fuxi.
  • Dijiang ordered Kong Jue to send people to find Bai Ze and Fuxi and invite them to Mount Buzhou.
  • Kuafu found Bai Ze in a secluded valley and invited him to Mount Buzhou on Dijiang’s behalf.
  • Bai Ze accepted the invitation, curious about the Witch Cult’s Law-Proving Path, while Fuxi wandered the clouds and wondered if his path to the Dao had been cut off.

Ch. 116Fuxi's Enlightenment

Fuxi learned about the Law-Proving Path from Six-Eared Macaque and Kong Xuan and realized that his Three-Corpse Severing cultivation had led him astray. At the Sun God Palace, Di Jun told the Demon Clan’s leaders that Bai Ze and Fuxi had left because Hongjun had bestowed Heaven’s Way Power upon him.

  • Fuxi watched Six-Eared Macaque and Kong Xuan spar and recognized their reliance on laws and physical strength as the Witch Cult’s Law-Proving Path.
  • Fuxi introduced himself to Six-Eared Macaque and Kong Xuan, then joined them in discussing the Dao.
  • Fuxi realized he had followed the wrong path with Three-Corpse Severing, thanked the two disciples, and departed with new resolve.

  • Di Jun told the Demon Clan's generals about Heaven's Way Power and let them decide whether to leave.
  • Nine-Headed Bird, Jimeng, Yingzhao, and the others pledged to follow Di Jun, who promised to let them study the heavenly dao origin with him and Taiyi.
  • A Two-Headed Evil Flood Dragon attacked Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao Sisters, but Six Ears's strand of fur became a golden ape phantom and killed it with one strike.
  • Several years later, Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiao Sisters arrived at Mount Buzhou and asked a Witch Cult Dao Protector Army guard for permission to enter and seek the Dao.

Ch. 118Tian Wu Takes Notice

  • Minghe created the Asura Clan and founded the Slaughter Sect, but the Heaven’s Way’s merit did not allow him to attain Sagehood.
  • Minghe’s failure crushed many powerful beings’ hopes of becoming Sages without primordial purple qi.
  • At Pangu Hall, Houtu asked Dijiang whether another Sage would ever be born in the Primordial World.

Ch. 120Xuanming Expounded the Dao

Dijiang considered how his possession of the seventh strand of Primordial Purple Qi might disrupt Hongjun’s plans, while Xuanming delivered a merciless lecture on the Dao of killing to the Witch Cult disciples. The lecture left many unconscious but revealed several promising cultivators, including Zhao Gongming.

  • Dijiang wondered how Hongjun would respond to the missing Primordial Purple Qi and whether the Three Human Emperors could still take their rightful positions.
  • Xuanming went to the square at Mount Buzhou and began teaching the Dao of killing, overwhelming many disciples with her killing intent.
  • Zhao Gongming endured Xuanming’s lecture, while Bixiao struggled and Yunxiao and Qiongxiao helped support her.

Tongtian backed down to preserve their brotherhood, while Yuanshi rewarded the Twelve Golden Immortals and urged them to keep disciplining Interception Sect disciples.

  • Wounded Interception Sect disciples told Tongtian that Guangchengzi and the others had attacked and insulted them.
  • Tongtian confronted Yuanshi at the Jade Void Palace and demanded an explanation, but Yuanshi defended the Chan Sect’s actions and disparaged Tongtian’s disciples.
  • Tongtian threatened Yuanshi with the Green Duckweed Sword, then put it away and returned to the Azure Wandering Palace without fighting.

Ch. 123A Mere Rat Spirit

After Taiyi Zhenren attacked the Interception Sect disciples again, Daoist Duobao went to confront him and began fighting him. Duobao gained the upper hand, but Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples prepared to join the battle.

  • Master Tongtian gave his injured disciples Nine-Turn Golden Elixir and told them not to clash with the Chan Sect again before entering secluded cultivation.
  • The horned disciple and several Interception Sect companions went to a spirit spring, where Taiyi Zhenren mocked them and attacked them with the Nine Dragon Divine Fire Cover.

  • Guangchengzi and the other Chan Sect disciples prepared to join the fight.

Ch. 124Laozi's Fence-Sitting

Duobao fought Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, and other Chan Sect disciples after they attacked the Interception Sect, while Xingtian watched and reported the clash. Tongtian and Yuanshi nearly came to blows over the incident, and Laozi stopped them with a ruling that satisfied neither brother as Duobao gained the upper hand on the plain.

  • Xingtian saw Duobao battle Guangchengzi, Taiyi Zhenren, and other Chan Sect disciples, then sent a report to Mount Buzhou while watching the fight.
  • Duobao began to tire as the Chan Sect disciples combined their strength and treasures against him.
  • The wounded Interception Sect disciples joined the battle, and Junior Brother Niu flew to seek help at the Azure Wandering Palace.

  • Guangchengzi and Taiyi Zhenren accused Duobao of ganging up on them, enraging Duobao and the Jie Sect disciples.
  • Xingtian laughed at the Chan Sect from the clouds, but a blanket of mist covered the battlefield and blocked his view.
  • Xingtian charged into the mist and found Yuanshi Tianzun and Master Tongtian facing each other while Laozi tried to calm the conflict.
  • Yuanshi Tianzun threatened Xingtian, but Dijiang stepped through shattered space and asked whether there was any more of the spectacle.
  • Xingtian recounted to Dijiang how the Chan Sect disciples had attacked the Jie Sect and then blamed Duobao.
