Tailed Beasts were not mindless animals. They were as intelligent as humans, perhaps even more so. The Seven-Tails knew its Jinchūriki's body could not withstand its power right now. No matter how fiercely its anger burned, it could do nothing but remain silent.
And just like that, they had captured a Jinchūriki with remarkable ease. The Seven-Tails ranked among the stronger Tailed Beasts in chakra reserves. Unlike the Two-Tails, whose chakra and strength were comparatively limited, it was a weapon of war that never needed to rest.
Suien saw Fugaku Uchiha and the others out of Takigakure with a fawning smile.
The moment they left Takigakure, a fierce flash of steel slashed down from above. Its edge seemed capable of cutting through anything, like an Admiral of the Land of Iron sweeping across a battlefield in the Warring States Era. It felt as though death would come in an instant.
"Susanoo!"
Fugaku Uchiha's face darkened. He immediately summoned Susanoo, taking it straight to its third stage. Only its complete body and heavy armor allowed him to withstand that dangerous strike and see who had attacked.
"Tch! You dodged it."
Jūzō Biwa hefted the Kubikiribōchō onto his shoulder and surveyed the Uchiha with an arrogant look. He studied each of them, seemingly searching for the best place to cut: the chest, the back of the neck, or perhaps the waist.
"You were too slow."
Obito Uchiha emerged from the Kamui Dimension like a ghost. Looking at Jūzō Biwa, who had failed to land his strike, he could not help grumbling inwardly. Nagato Uzumaki had assigned him extra muscle so they could capture the Tailed Beasts faster, and this was what he got?
Obito Uchiha ground his teeth. Damn it. If they'd sent someone stronger, the ambush wouldn't have failed.
