Background

Qian Renxue was born into Spirit Hall as Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. As a child, she believed that her parents had died serving Spirit Hall and had gone to the Angel God’s side; Qian Daoliu maintained this lie because he considered the truth too cruel for her to bear. She wanted to become the Angel God so that she could reunite with them. 9

She awakened the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul at six years old, possessing innate Rank 20 Soul Power. Her mother, Bibi Dong, had been emotionally destroyed after being violated by the mentor she trusted, gave birth to Qian Renxue, and later died alone. Qian Renxue consequently grew up largely isolated in the Worship Hall, supported quietly by Qian Daoliu but deprived of ordinary familial affection. 10

Her life became centered on cultivation and the Angel God’s trials. Learning that godhood could not revive her deceased parents caused her to withdraw emotionally, though she did not become cruel. After becoming a god and succeeding Qian Daoliu as Spirit Hall’s Pope, she unified Douluo Star, eliminated Evil Soul Masters, suppressed the Sea God’s inheritance forces, and ruled for a century with compassion and responsibility. The resulting Faith Power elevated her to the Half-step God King realm. 10

Ten thousand years later, Ye Chenxing summoned her as the Heroic Spirit known as Saber. The stabilizing contract bound her strength to his Soul Power, reducing her from a Golden Tree-sustained Limit Douluo state to the Soul Grandmaster realm. 9

Qian Renxue is disciplined, pragmatic, and emotionally restrained. Her first reaction to flight is tactical analysis rather than excitement, and she accepts the loss of her temporary peak power as necessary to stabilize her contract with Ye Chenxing. 9

Her isolation and grief made her distant, but not malicious. As Spirit Hall’s Pope, she governed through compassion rather than manipulation, devoting herself to protecting ordinary people and eradicating Evil Soul Masters. 10

After becoming Ye Chenxing’s Heroic Spirit, she gradually develops the ordinary experiences that duty had denied her. She is curious about street games, entertainment, romance, and modern life, but approaches many of them with excessive seriousness. Her room eventually becomes cluttered with games, snacks, comics, and romance manuals as she tries to understand dating. 62 63 81

Qian Renxue initially regarded her bond with Ye Chenxing as absolute because she was part of his Martial Soul. After hearing others speculate that he might not like her, she experiences jealousy for the first time and realizes—with Ah Yin’s help—that she is in love with him. 63
