Martial Soul Awakening

As the crowd buzzed with discussion, the orphanage director led Zhou Liang and the others into the place within Lanba Academy where Martial Souls were awakened.

The director turned to all the children and said, "Don't be nervous when you go in later. Just do as the uncle inside tells you."

All the children nodded, then followed the director into the hall.

After entering the hall, the director said to the middle-aged man inside, "Teacher Grey Wolf, these are this year's children."

Teacher Grey Wolf nodded, then turned to the children and said kindly, "Children, my name is Grey Wolf. I'll awaken your Martial Souls shortly. A big grey wolf will appear behind me, so don't be afraid."

The Martial Soul was torn into three parts and absorbed by the three stars, transforming into Martial Souls themselves before merging with Zhou Liang and becoming his Martial Souls.

Although he experienced intense pain in that instant, the comfort of the Three-Life Martial Soul fusion immediately overwhelmed it.

After several seconds passed and Zhou Liang's Martial Soul had yet to appear, Teacher Grey Wolf had just begun to frown when a change occurred.

A figure made of energy appeared behind Zhou Liang. It had a sturdy build without being overly exaggerated, and it wore half armor. It looked like a soldier, though strangely, it held no weapon.

"A humanoid Martial Soul? The daughter of Blazing Fire Academy's headmaster seemed to have awakened a humanoid Martial Soul a few years ago as well, and her Soul Power level was quite high!"
