Yang Fan learned that the Wraith Race’s Yin Soldiers were made of resentment and ordered his forces to wage an all-out war of attrition rather than retreat. The bombardment halted the Yin Soldiers’ advance, but resentment phantoms began attacking the Intelligent Gundams with overwhelming force.
Yang Fan watched the Wraith Race’s Yin Soldiers and Annihilator Fighters trade heavy losses, then searched for ways to counter the enemy’s resentment and found that Water of Life could purify it. Just as he prepared to send his vast stockpile to the front, Yang Da urgently called him back to the battlefield, where a major change had occurred.
Yang Fan learned that poison miasma was draining his Divine Kingdom’s pill reserves and ordered Water of Life sent to the front line. He returned to reality and asked Gu Le to procure five quadrillion Divinity Points’ worth of pills, leaving her wondering if he planned to resell them.
Yang Fan asked Gu Le to arrange five quadrillion Divinity Points' worth of pills within five days, and she explained that All-Spirit Biopharmaceutical could not meet the deadline. She proposed buying the stock through her family instead, then brought Yang Fan to the Gu Family Clan Grounds to negotiate with Gu Xuanting.
Gu Le visited her parents in the Virtual World and teased Gu Xuanting about past gifts she had turned into resources and company shares. She then proposed a bulk purchase of Basic Pills worth five hundred trillion Divinity Points, leaving Gu Xuanting choking on his tea.
Gu Le negotiated with Gu Xuanting to buy five quadrillion divinity points’ worth of pills from the Gu Family, securing a forty-percent discount and direct delivery. Gu Xuanting warned her and Yang Fan about the costs of running a pill business, unaware of why they needed so many pills.
Yang Fan bought a huge supply of pills through Gu Le and the Gu Family, saving two hundred trillion Divinity Points. After the pills reached his Divine Kingdom, he rewarded Gu Le with one hundred trillion Divinity Points and entered his Divine Kingdom to handle other matters.
Yang Fan reviewed the escalating war against the Wraith Race and learned that enemy Yin Soldiers were inflicting heavy losses on his mechanical forces. Yang Da assured him that pill supplies were stable and proposed improving the Divine Kingdom’s war weapons, leaving Yang Fan’s forces to continue fighting while planning for future upgrades.
Yang Fan and Yang Da prepared the Divine Kingdom’s forces to counter the Wraith Race’s Yin Soldiers, while Yang Da remained confident that their resource reserves would secure victory. At the Wraith Race’s Divine Kingdom Core, Lingyuan and the other gods watched the battle and believed the enemy was already losing.
As the Wraith Race gods grew confident that Yang Fan’s costly war effort could not defeat them, Lingyuan detected unfamiliar reinforcements arriving in his Divine Kingdom. The newcomers were Elven Warriors, whose presence left the Wraith Race gods baffled about why the Elf Race had entered the battle.
The Wraith Race gods mistook the Elven Warriors for ordinary human followers, but the elves attacked their Yin Soldiers with arrows infused with water of life. The arrows began cracking the Wraith Race’s black shield, and the Elven Warriors launched a second volley from specially designed storage cases.
Yang Fan’s forces used life-infused arrows to devastate the Wraith Race’s Yin Soldiers, forcing Lingyuan and the other Wraith Race Gods to commit more troops and resources. Lingyuan realized Yang Fan had prepared the countermeasure in advance and ordered an all-out effort to destroy the elven archers and their arrow supplies.
Lingyuan realized his human opponent was using vast quantities of water of life to poison the Wraith army with arrows, and he feared the reckless spending signaled a dangerous enemy. He ordered his allies to destroy the arrow crates, then warned them that the immense human force made this a battle for survival.
Yang Fan’s forces steadily weakened the Wraith Race’s Yin Soldiers while Yang Fan’s subordinates praised his leadership and he promised them rewards. The battlefield shifted when five enormous dark silhouettes emerged from a violently shaking spatial rift.
Yang Fan let the enemy gather its Yin Soldiers before revealing his hidden strength, while the five Death God's Scythes charged toward his army. His forces prepared to counter them, and Yang Si sent Yang Shi to ready their own S-Class War Buildings.
Yang Shi let five Wraith Race Death God's Scythes pass through a formation so the Human Race army could study and attack them, despite Yang Si's objections. Lingyuan remained suspicious as the Scythes prepared to phase past the Mechanical Army and destroy the life-water-soaked arrows threatening the Yin Soldiers.
Lingyuan ordered five Death God's Scythes to self-destruct near Elvenkind, but they arrived to find the elves gone and hundreds of S-Class War Buildings surrounding them. Realizing the ambush had trapped his forces, Lingyuan commanded the Sixth to self-destruct.
Yang Shi used the Soul-Calming Bells to destroy the Wraith believers controlling the five Death God's Scythes, then turned the captured war buildings against Lingyuan's army. As the six Wraith Race gods rushed more forces and resources to the battlefield, Yang Fan welcomed the chance to draw them all into one decisive battle.
