Background
Zhou Changwang died in a car accident in his original world and awakened in the body of a seventeen-year-old rogue cultivator of the same name. He inherited the former owner’s memories, a Five-Element Spiritual Root, Qi Refining Second Layer cultivation, and three mu of rented spirit fields at Phoenix-Cry Cove Market. His unusual Attribute Panel records his cultivation, lifespan, and skills. 1
His father, Zhou Qiankun, was an Innate martial artist who entered the cultivation world despite lacking Spiritual Roots; Zhou’s deceased mother was a cultivator. Qiankun’s hopes that his son could succeed in cultivation were initially undermined by Zhou Changwang’s mediocre aptitude and poverty. 1 5
The Attribute Panel changes his prospects by guaranteeing proficiency growth through successful practice. Zhou verifies that each use of Cleansing Art adds one point of proficiency, then resolves to conceal this advantage rather than attract stronger cultivators’ attention. 2 8
Personality
Zhou is cautious, analytical, and intensely pragmatic. His initial fantasies of immortality give way to a survival-first outlook shaped by poverty, robber cultivators, demon beasts, and the vulnerability of rogue cultivators. 25
He is persistent to an unusual degree. Rather than accepting poor aptitude or failed attempts as fixed limits, he repeatedly practices spells, talisman crafting, alchemy, formations, and cultivation methods until the Attribute Panel pushes them beyond ordinary bottlenecks. 8 161 222
Despite his secrecy and ruthlessness toward enemies, Zhou protects people he accepts as his own. He heals his father, supports Qian Xiaoyue from afar, rewards capable subordinates, and repairs Chen Chen’s damaged meridians rather than allowing him to risk a destructive Realm-Breaking Pill. 30 147 312
Abilities & Skills
Attribute Panel
Zhou’s defining advantage is a panel that records numerical proficiency and grants steady advancement through repeated successful use.
- Successful spellcasts and cultivation cycles add measurable proficiency. 2 3
- He can break skill bottlenecks once proficiency is full, avoiding the regression and stagnation common to ordinary cultivators. 8
- Its progression applies across cultivation, spellcraft, talisman crafting, alchemy, formations, body tempering, and Divine Abilities. 161 255
Cultivation and Body Tempering
Zhou began with the Five Elements Formula, later cultivating the superior Pure Yang Five Elements Art.
- Minor Mastery enables automatic circulation, recovery of spiritual power, and continuous passive cultivation. 27
- Major Mastery raises his refinement speed and makes his cultivation efficiency comparable to cultivators with Dual-Attribute Spiritual Roots. 145
- Perfection increases conversion efficiency by over thirty percent and greatly improves automatic circulation and pill absorption. 296
- The Five-Element Glazed Heart Lamp further purifies and condenses his spiritual power, stabilizing pill-assisted breakthroughs. 131 315
- His Eight Heavenly Origin Forms provide a separate Body Tempering path, ultimately reaching the Sixth Layer. 103 161
Spirit Planting
Zhou’s spirit-plant skills are the foundation of his early survival and later wealth.
- Spirit Rain Art — At Perfection, it draws ambient spiritual energy into rain and can produce spirit water comparable to water from a spiritual spring. 103
- Growth Technique and Year-Ring Art — Accelerate spirit-plant growth; the improved Year-Ring Art reduces Demon-Beast Spirit Essence consumption by roughly half. 229
- Spirit-Listening Art — Lets him perceive a spirit plant’s needs, including the Stellar-Origin Spirit Fruit Tree’s lack of sufficient spiritual energy. 149
- He successfully cultivates rare Thunder Spirit Rice, Spirit Convergence Grass, Redleaf Spirit Tea Trees, and Stellar-Origin Spirit Fruit Trees. 97 147 319
Talisman Crafting and Alchemy
Zhou develops two major professions alongside cultivation.
- His talisman work progresses from basic spirit talismans to redesigned Perfection-level Sealing Talismans and high-grade thunder talismans. 78 141
- He operates under the identity Fenghua High Person, a wanted talisman master known for the Five-Thunder Heaven-Sunder and the Golden-Armored King Flying Cicada. 190
- He begins alchemy with forty failed Fasting Pill attempts, then becomes capable of refining numerous pill formulas and reaches Alchemy Art Major Mastery. 161 190
- His status as Alchemist Kunpeng becomes known at Five-Peak Mountain after he refines Poria Spirit Pills with a Five-Dragon Flame-Separating Furnace. 229
Sword and Thunder Arts
Zhou combines flying swords, thunder techniques, and layered spellcasting into his primary offensive style.
- Five-Element Thunder Transformation Art — A powerful thunder spell initially requiring lengthy casting and heavy spiritual-power consumption; at Perfection, it becomes nearly instantaneous and comparable to a first-rank high-grade thunder art. 100 141
- Minor Five-Element Thousand Thunder Art — Surpasses the Perfection-level Thunder Transformation Art in range and destructive power at Major Mastery. 153
- Flying-Heaven Sword Formations — Progresses from Six to Forty-Two flying swords; the perfected Twenty-Four formation can contend with ordinary Foundation Establishment Sixth Layer cultivators. 222 248 319
- Yin-Yang Five-Element Sword Art — Uses fewer swords and less True Essence than a full formation while retaining comparable power. 248
- His swordsmanship later earns him the titles Divine Sword Kunpeng and Kunpeng Sword Cultivator. 248
Divine Abilities and Divine Sense
Zhou’s immense knowledge of spell-rune structures lets him cultivate Divine Abilities far faster than ordinary cultivators.
- Grand Cavern Skywatching — A long-range observation ability; Major Mastery unlocks Tenfold Expansion, extending his view from dozens to hundreds of miles for a short duration. 312
- Minor Spirit-Sealing Art — Seals an enemy’s True Essence and spiritual power long enough to decide a battle. 312 331
- Seven-Colored Calamity-Dispelling Radiance — A defensive Minor Divine Ability superior to his earlier shields against ordinary attacks. 297
- Poisonous Wave — Inflicts poison, curses, corrosion, sluggishness, and other weakening effects. 301
- Shrinking the Earth to an Inch — A movement Divine Ability that is roughly three times faster than his sword flight, but initially exhausts his True Essence after about twenty steps. 304
- Near at Hand, Far Away — A high-consumption spatial movement technique suited to combat and escape. 389 390
- Samadhi True Fire — A colorless, odorless flame that can burn nearly anything and is difficult to extinguish. 388 390
Five-Element Pure Yang True Body
Zhou gathers the Ten-Thousand-Year Wood Heart, Earthcore Flame, Yellow-Mystic Spirit Soil, Gold-Origin Soul, and Primordial Heavy Water to complete this body-cultivation art.
- Summons a second body capable of independently casting spells at roughly eighty percent of his main body’s strength. 188
- The True Body can be maintained for about one hundred breaths before draining his spiritual power. 188
- Fusing it back into himself nearly doubles his overall strength, spellcasting speed, physical power, and artifact control. 188
Equipment, Resources, and Companions
- Five-Element Glazed Heart Lamp — Purifies and condenses spiritual power while supporting his cultivation foundation. 131 315
- Heaven-Earth Cauldron — An unusually spiritual alchemy cauldron enhanced by Creation Force. 161
- Five-Dragon Flame-Separating Furnace — Low-Grade Treasure Artifact used for second-grade pill refinement. 229
