As dragon-phoenix auspiciousness swept the night sky clear of its starry veil, revealing the celestial signs, Tianzhi Baize, who had been sitting in meditation, felt an inexplicable stirring in his heart. He calculated on his fingers and murmured in astonishment:
"Is this the profundity of the Pangu World, the world closest to the Origin World? In a mere lesser world, where all Dao fruits have vanished, someone can actually use mortal power to part the clouds and see the heavens, piercing the Heavenly Secrets!"
He paused, frowning as he calculated for a moment, then muttered in bewilderment, "Which Great Adept has deigned to descend? Aren't they afraid that a dragon in shallow waters will be mocked by shrimp, or a tiger on the plains bullied by dogs? Or even that their boat will capsize in a gutter?"
Unable to divine an answer, Bai Ze swiftly sent Xiao Ying a message.
Several breaths later, Xiao Ying's figure slowly appeared in Bai Ze's courtyard as though he had shifted through space. His expression was grim as he asked outright, "Something has changed in the Wu State affair? What do you mean? Is there a spy? Has the secret leaked?"
