Arthas swept a cold gaze over the heroes around him and spoke icily. After a pause, he gave a self-mocking smile. "Then again, does our undead army even have such a thing as morale?"

Some of the undead heroes burst into laughter. It seemed the Huan Emperor's calculations and deployments would come to nothing. The undead had no morale, fighting spirit, or anything of the sort. And eighty to ninety percent of San Francisco Royal City's forces were undead, with armies of the other factions making up only a tiny proportion.

The Otherworlders from China, the Cloth Warriors, and the others had initially held every advantage, but as ever more undead surged toward them, impossible to kill off, they began losing ground and retreating step by step!
Fortunately, the Otherworlders valued their lives, which naturally made them adept at staying alive, as well as more flexible and independent, while the Cloth Warriors possessed formidable individual combat strength. With the Great Huan Expeditionary Army holding the rear, the Otherworlders from China and the Cloth Warriors did not collapse like a landslide despite their repeated retreats. Instead, they fought as they withdrew, though their casualties grew increasingly severe and the battle became brutally bloody!
