"How did Lathander get here?" Hydra, who had been sitting cross-legged at the back with her twelve heads taking turns watching Bane's and Rose's followers, gave a violent start.

The many-headed serpent, who had thought she was perfectly safe, flicked her tail and slid straight toward the rear wall. She scrambled up it in a flash and hung upside down to watch the battle ahead, looking ready to flee at any moment.

The other followers of Dark Night slipped into the shadows at once.

Lathander's attack had broken the Tieflings' blockade. If they had not wanted to stay and watch the spectacle, they could have fled already.

Hearing the rumble ahead and the wild laughter coming from within the golden light, Elvia could not help lowering her body. "Edna, let's get out of here! That's Lathander!"

"What's so scary about Lathander?" an Undead Priest beside her asked in surprise. "Doesn't his arrival mean we're safe?"

Elvia went rigid, her expression shifting wildly. Anyone could see that the White Dragon had fallen into confusion.

Edna patted her White Dragon, then turned and smiled at the Undead Priest. "Honey, Elvia is a White Dragon. It's only natural for one of the Chromatic Dragons to want to run when she sees the Lord of Dawn.

"She'll get used to him. Lathander wouldn't hurt a friend of the Undead for no reason."

The little Priest named Honey smiled. "Oh? You used to call me Big Sister Honey. Why the change? Is it because you're taller than me now, so you're embarrassed?

"Hehe, I guess there's a downside to being forever young.

"The kids we knew in Telashir were the same. When they were little, they called me Big Sister Sweet Honey all the time. As soon as they grew up, they started avoiding us.
