Umberlee was truly furious this time. She even forgot what she had been trying to conceal all this time and shrieked for Malar to come out and help.

Though the Beast Lord was somewhat reluctant, he had already lost his chance to launch a sneak attack. After some dawdling, he transformed into a strange, enormous Crocodilefolk and appeared on the beach at the island's edge.

He wore a headdress made from a pair of horns and two long feathers, held a gigantic spear, and had an exquisitely crafted armlet on his left upper arm.

His attire looked Egyptian. This was presumably the appearance of the Mulhorandi Crocodile God whom Malar had devoured.

The enormous Crocodilefolk brandished his spear... the dead sticks and branches on the ground turned into huge crocodiles and charged into the sea. Together with the Sharkheads Umberlee was berating, they struggled to climb aboard Black Rose's great ship.

Then he slipped into the seawater himself and rushed toward the magic ship at tremendous speed, shouting, "Disrespect toward the gods shall not be permitted!"

This was the spell Power Word Stun. Even its caster could not say whatever he pleased; his words had to conform to certain rules.

But once an enemy had indeed violated the rule he pronounced, they would be immobilized.

Except... this kind of command, aimed at the depths of the soul, was completely useless against the Undead.

Hill could not help frowning... why was Malar using this aspect here?

Didn't he usually use that ape-man form?

More importantly, why did Malar seem to know nothing whatsoever about the Undead?

After all these years, even the demons of the Abyss and the devils of Hell had no desire to tamper with the Undead's souls.

Especially the devils, who took the greatest interest in mortal souls.
