"Should we write to the other gods?" Lathander asked, belatedly catching on. "In whose name? All three of us?

"I bet the first thing some of the timid ones would do is burn the letter. What if we scare a couple of them to death?

"Someone like the Goddess of Springwater would run off crying to her sister, wouldn't she?"

"Shut up!" Selûne and Shar roared together.

After a while, Shar calmed down and said, "Doesn't the Snowfall Island Alliance have a letterhead we all use? Use that. Notify Tyr and Tempus first.

"Oh, and Edna, the one floating around up there. Shouldn't this letter go out in her name?

"In the end, she'll defeat her enemies under the eyes of the Toril Gods, then make a glorious exit!

"Damn it. Why am I handling all of this?

"This is supposed to be her job!"

Normally, Edna would have uncovered Amn's plot after a narrow escape, then called on the other gods to gang up on Amn's warlocks.
