Once Oaisis had finally learned to behave, the Ismail Family gradually fell silent.

Hill glanced in their direction with a cold sneer.

He had known that the younger Ismails had only managed to fly into his territory instead of being called back halfway because the Grand Sage himself wanted to test which of them held a higher place in Oaisis's heart.

When Oaisis had not come out to sternly stop him at first, he might still have clung to hope. But once his children were seriously injured, he had understood at least this much: Oaisis had stayed out of it because there was simply no need for him to intervene.
