Hill turned to look at the little black ball in surprise. "Oh~ My, even a stone has blossomed!"

"What are you talking about?" Oaisis replied quickly. "Why don't I feel like that's a compliment? But it doesn't sound like you're insulting me either."

"Xue Yunfeng really is a good teacher," Hill said with unusual certainty. "You're much sharper now than you used to be.

"If it were the current you, you definitely wouldn't have been fooled so easily."

"Really?" Oaisis immediately brightened.

Then he quickly explained, "Xue Yunfeng told me that there's nothing wrong with trusting people, but I can't trust just anyone.

"Anyway, I'm a god. My computing power and memory have no limits, so I can make a pyramid-shaped chart in my mind... I just need to rank everyone I know, especially those I intend to keep in my heart, according to different levels.

"Then I draw a line on it. Only people above that line can make me lower my guard a little.

"Then it decreases layer by layer until the tip of the pyramid.

"Only the people there can make me drop my guard completely.

"Of course, Hill doesn't need to be considered. You're already right at the top!"

The corner of Hill's mouth twitched slightly. "I really... thank you for that."

Although he understood what Oaisis meant, he did not really want to be the person everyone trusted too much forever.

But after Oaisis made the rounds, the beings observing him would probably be able to judge his basic nature: he did not like causing trouble, but he was not afraid of it either. He would not fall for moral coercion, and his way of doing things was rather willful.

He would absolutely never do anything he disliked, even if someone knelt and begged him.
