So in the end, Hill could only do his best to find similar materials in Gilbert's material repository. After clearing away a few impurities, he made a slightly higher-quality flying saucer.
He had accepted that it would be ugly. At worst, he could make it matte black and flatten the canopy a little... at least it would not look like a container for braised pork.
But black did not mean he wanted to stuff himself into an iron box... it had to be refined steel at the very least.
Fortunately, this world was not so restrictive that even a little spatial magic could not be used. As for refined steel... Rute had plenty of that. It should not have counted as anything particularly rare... merely a barely passable material.
A Seventh-Circle Mage like Gilbert could expand a roughly ten-square-meter disc into a forty-square-meter little room no matter what.
Fortunately, it was a circular space.
Hill stared at his oversized dinner plate... Even if Rute was not bringing many people, there would definitely be some Outer-Ring Mages with families. The journey to Sia Tower would take at least a month.
Though he could only squat in a fifteen-square-meter suite, Hill could endure it.
Hill set aside a twelve-square-meter little reception room, then gave each of the two students an eight-square-meter bedroom. With a tiny washroom added in, it was acceptable enough.
Those two children would probably prefer staying in the reception room anyway. Unless something major happened, Hill would not need to show himself.
After thinking for a while, Hill added metal racks for securing miscellaneous items inside those small rooms. The racks were directly connected to the flying saucer, with fine chains and crisscrossing slender metal bars forming the fastening devices.
It was the only way he could think of
