Being hated, resented, or even looked down upon never really bothered Graz'zt.
Demons were not devils, able to draw power from all those complicated emotions... all they needed was the evil in living creatures' hearts.
As long as you were wicked enough, you could supply demons with energy.
Demons had no real need to sow discord among those lesser creatures, either.
Simply by being alive, those creatures could bring demons power.
Of course, the more fallen creatures there were, the better.
But a Greater Demon of Graz'zt's rank cared nothing for mortal attention or scrutiny.
Even though Graz'zt loved to toy with people's hearts... giving them a little hope before plunging them into despair, for instance, to see how their reactions differed.
Still, he was only watching.
Whatever the outcome, it never stirred anything in Graz'zt.
This was the first time a mortal's actions had actually affected him!
Demogorgon, on the other hand, remained completely unaffected by Nanfeng's actions.
He was the one who truly did not care what the Undead did.
