"That's... interesting," Xue Yunfeng said thoughtfully. "Think about it. Vecna managed to hide so deeply in this world and pull off so many schemes right under the King of Devils' nose. How could he possibly have failed to consider what might happen if he touched Shar's things?"
"Whatever he was plotting, there must still have been something he didn't anticipate." Rainfall on the Mortal Realm shook his head. "Vecna and Shar have always been scheming back and forth against each other. It's just a question of who comes out on top in the end.
