What it was, Hill actually had no idea.
He was an Alchemy Grandmaster with a strong experimental spirit, and he had collected all kinds of challenging things from various worlds and from the Undead.
For example, some strange crystals left behind after certain patches of mud Rose had once left outside Aglaia were scorched by fire... The ever-curious Undead had gathered them up and even come to ask Hill whether he wanted them.
Since he did not have to collect them himself, Hill naturally accepted.
If he even had things like that, then there was no need to mention the special products from Gerns and Faerunriel.
Beneath the demons' and devils' grand pretenses, Gerns actually had many bizarre little things.
Like that counterfeit mare from back then... That thing had sincerely enjoyed being universally acknowledged as the most beautiful mare, with all sorts of suitors pursuing her.
It truly became whatever it pretended to be!
And it was merely one among those strange beings, far from the only one.
Therefore, Hill did not dare use many of the things collected in Gerns, especially materials taken from certain animals, on himself.
Even though those things had already been completely converted in nature, Hill still found them revolting... and so did the Undead.
Thus, Hill's main gains from Gerns were still those Sun Fragments, though he had also collected some ordinary materials... He could not help it. An Alchemical Mage's instincts still made him want to investigate what those things truly were.
Although Hill would not experiment on intelligent creatures, he was not entirely unable to use scraps such as fur.
Even genuine Children of Nature, natural Demigods born from forests and grasslands, could do at least that much.
