Hill had been caught off guard by information he had been planning to secretly inquire about.
Surely there were still patterns to the Undead's actions, weren't there? He felt these people were panicking for no reason.
Unless the Travel God insisted on joining the war himself, the Undead should not attack a Yellow Name Neutral Alignment first. There were still so many Red Name nations on the continent!
Unless they did not yet know the principles by which the Undead chose their enemies. Could some Neutral God have attacked the Undead first?
Yellow Names had always been within the Undead's range of attack. It was just that, to them, if a Red Name was worth 100 merit points, a Yellow Name was worth only half that. If the Yellow Name leaned strongly toward good, attacking them might even deduct merit points.
So, the Undead generally only troubled Yellow Names after all the Red Names had been killed.
They tried their best to find a balance between experience and merit points.
Thus, if someone was Neutral but leaned toward good, most Undead would not attack. They were very good at calculating gains and losses.
However, if the Travel God and his followers showed hostility toward the Undead and attacked first, they would naturally become Red Names in the Undead's eyes.
When comparing evil forces with enemies who had suddenly appeared, the Undead might not necessarily attack either one first!
After all, enemies might be frightened into laying down their weapons and suddenly turn back into Yellow Names.
Hill could only helplessly watch the entire auction hall. The atmosphere was so grave that it seemed everyone was about to march off to their deaths.
In the various hymns passed down by the Travel God, he had much of the original owner's temperament.
