The reason Silver Moon City had so many books was that many Silver Moon residents had copied them from the great library at the Summit of the Sages. They were not Silver Moon City's newest spell research results; even the most recent ones were twenty years old.

There were also many books circulating from Oghma's Hall of Inspiration.

But it was the same there. Even Oghma's high priest could not obtain the latest materials from the university.

The truly newest spellbooks and various reports existed only in that one at Lady's College of Magic.

Of the books available outside, the freshest things Hill could buy were Silver Moon City's various newspapers and biographical novels, along with some art books.

For people—or gods—who played with art, the most important thing was how to spread songs and smiles throughout the world. They would never allow a piece of music, a beautiful poem, a painting, or a novel
