Hill poured himself a glass of fruit wine. A large golden wing spread out beside him, signaling that its owner wanted a glass too.
There was clearly juice on the little table over there.
It seemed this one had caught the scent of alcohol.
After some thought, Hill poured him a glass of so-called fruit wine—actually a mixed fruit juice that even children could not get drunk on. It counted as a kind of cocktail, with a faint alcoholic flavor but no alcohol at all.
He would not give the Lord of Dawn any opportunity to cause trouble.
If an existence like Lathander got drunk and made a scene in Hill's territory, Hill could only watch.
On the water screen, Princess Aribeth said with an unpleasant expression, "Go check whether there are any traps nearby. I didn't bring you along to watch you put on a show! Aren't you the best at gathering information? Didn't you claim there wasn't a secret in Neverwinter you didn't know? Even the palace's defenses couldn't stop your nimble footsteps. I'm waiting to see you do your job! If I could find anyone better, why would I bring someone like you?"
"Can you find a second Good Alignment rogue in this world, beautiful Aribeth?" Morrison twisted his body and said with a grin. "Don't get angry over those little ads I put out to make money! They're just ways to make a living. Better than picking pockets, right?"
"I'm a future Shadow Master!"
"A musician in the shadows~"
Hill glanced at Morrison in surprise.
There was actually a long-established thief who was still Good Alignment! He was certainly Chaotic, but that was still astonishing enough.
It seemed that experienced thieves of Good Alignment were genuinely rare.
He was one of the residents of Hill's territory!
