Corellon finished his work and went back to the Alchemy Hall to amuse himself. Hill found himself seeing the old ancestor in a new light.
When Hill erected the memorial, Corellon had probably heard the Undead discussing it and understood what Hill wanted to do. But he had been under no obligation to help.
Elf graves were usually in forests, with a tree planted over each one. Over the years, the graves became part of the trees. There was no way those elves could have been among these spirits.
Corellon had done it simply to help Hill.
Tyr's Holy Knights led their horses out of the cemetery. Only after they had gone a long way did they mount up again. With determined faces, they rode around the edge of the city toward the temple, likely to pack their gear and answer their god's call to war.
The Undead who had been watching from outside for ages began waving at Hill. Corellon had stopped them earlier. Now they wanted to know if they could come in.
They knew it was a cemetery, but there was a memorial square beside it! They desperately wanted to see Corellon's carvings!
Their questions came in a chaotic babble. Hill hurriedly waved for silence before saying, "You're free to enter the square, but don't go sightseeing in either of the cemeteries.
"Unless you worship Toril's Silver Moon or the God of Justice, you'll be burned or struck by lightning if you enter.
"Please show the gods some respect, everyone. Have a little dignity yourselves, too!"
The Undead exchanged looks. They had followers of the Silver Moon, of course, but those people worshipped the one from Telashir.
